TINKER TATTER

Tinker Tatter Studio is the brainchild of a local tattoo artist who loves making things by hand in his home studio, from artwork and functional objects to experimental creations.

I worked with Eli to develop a logo mark, icon and supporting type family to brand his studio, with the intent to start documenting his projects via YouTube and other social channels to enrich community in the maker space.

With a quirky layout of highway fonts and a “TT” monogram formed by two loose screws, the resulting marks convey a sense of playfulness and experimentation mixed with the quality of a bygone era.
